Temple for Vasthu Dosha near Chennai

Located at 50 km from Chennai, on way to Puducherry near Kalpakkam is Parameswaramangalam, where there is a temple for Sri Bhoomidevi sameda Sri Sowmya Damodara Perumal. This 300 year old temple is said to help devotees overcome difficulties when building their homes and for vasthu dosha. When the temple was excavated more vigrahas were found.Near the Kalpakkam nuclear power station, is another ancient Kanakambika sameda Kailasanathar siva temple, built right in the middle of River Paalar. The temple has an exquisite sculpture of Siva in meditation and a cow bathing Him in milk both being protected from rain by the hood of a huge King Cobra.
