Raja Mathangi and Maha Lakshmi Puja for wealth and prosperity

This is a very powerful Maha Lakshmi Puja taken from the ancient palm leaf scrolls in the Thanjavur Saraswathi Mahal Library. It was called Samrajya Lakshmi Puja and was performed by Kings and Queens.

The puja was simplified and presented in a simple manner enabling even ordinary people to perform it. It is very auspicious to do it on Fridays and get blessed by Mahalakshmi – The Goddess of wealth and money.

Raja Mathangi is none other than the divine mother Meenakshi. This puja combine both Shiva and Vishnu elements. It can be performed by all irrespective of religion, race or caste.
