Sri Pasupathinathar Shiva Temple

This temple is located on top of a hill with around 700 steps in Acharapakkam and is prominently visible from the National Highway. The hill is called as Vajragiri and it said to have been visited by saints Agastya and Avvaiyar.The footsteps of Avvaiyar are shown in this temple.

Devotees visit this temple to pray for relief from Diabetes and Sugar. Scientifically also, since it is on top of a hill, daily walking up and down the hill along with the inhaling of clean air from the trees will definitely help one to get relief from Diabetes to some extend.
