Manikeshwari Mata – Saint from Gulbarga

Sri Manikeshwari Matha is a saint who resides on a hillock named Yanagundi, India which is 150 kms from Hyderabad. This place is on the border of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. She is a mystic and has stopped eating and drinking water for past several years ( from 1950s). She is said to be surviving on air using yogic techniques.She lives in the caves and comes out to meet devotees once twice a year – on Maha sivaratri and on her birth star.
