Bindrabin Shiva temple, Dadra and Nagar Haveli
Dadra and Nagar Haveli is situated between Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is a union territory of India, famous for its natural beauty, hilly Sahyadri mountain ranges and rich diversity in flora and fauna.
About 20 kilometers from the capital city of Silvasa, lies an old Shiva temple. This temple is called the Bindrabin temple and the main deity here is lord Shiva. Local people also refer to this temple as Tadkeshwar temple.
This area not only attracts devotees but also tourists because of the natural beauty. The temple is situated on Sakartod River bank. The atmosphere is very calm as the area is surrounded by tall trees. There aren’t many living quarters or lodges in this area. However, the Department of Silvassa tourism has built cottages for the convenience of devotees. There are eateries and recreational areas in the vicinity too.
